Re: Problem! Wiisis crashes when starting

Maybe your using an unlicensed copy of Crysis, e.g. Crysis-Razor1911 ? I got the "Runaway Thread" error message, then I uninstalled the Razor release and installed the original with 1.2 + 1.2.1 hotfix patch, now when I start Crysis with Wiisis it crashes with error message poping up and another error log. Sandbox 2 works for Wiisis, but extreme buggy, laggy and impossibal to play......(can´t move...) Pizza

Re: Problem! Wiisis crashes when starting

It's an old topic, but I'm having the same problems.

Just a full black screen, and then a crash to my desktop.

It seems that I'm missing the warningloop.sfd file.

This is what the gamelog says:

O and by the way, I saw someone saying something about an illegal version?

Mine is bought at a game/music/video store (free record shop, I believe that shop is also known outside my country). It's the Special Edition.

This line in your log file puzzles me:

Re: Problem! Wiisis crashes when starting

    Why does it puzzle you?

And what about the missing warningloop.sfd file?

  •  01-02-2009, 11:34 AM 2122 in reply to 2121

Re: Problem! Wiisis crashes when starting

not sure why it puzzles me, just never noticed it in there.

The missing warningloop.sfd sounds odd, but one thing you could try is to rename your profile (located in your documents folder) and try re-launching the game, you can restore it later.

Re: Problem! Wiisis crashes when starting

    I'll try it later.

I've got a few other things to do before today is over and I'm playing paintball tomorrow, so I'll see when I get to try it (I hope I will sunday)

Anyway, thanks, and I'll see what will happen.

EDIT: okay, I couldn't test it sunday, and I probably won't until friday.

I got a week full of tests at schoolCrying

Re: Problem! Wiisis crashes when starting

Okay, I tried it, still a black screen, and then again awindows pop-up telling me that Crysis has crashed.

    Nothing has changed at all.

I finally got to trying this mod and getting the right bluetooth drivers. I get a windows error everytime I try and start

Re: Problem! Wiisis crashes when starting

Which edition (looks like from steam) and which bluetooth?

It has been known that deleting your profile (you can backup your saved games though) and restarting fixes this.

Re: Problem! Wiisis crashes when starting

It's not the steam edition, regular dvd. The bluetooth is IOGear gbu421. Pain in the ass to get the drivers working.

But my solution was to install IOGears drivers then install broadcomms over top just to get the wiimote connected because of the passkey issue with IOgears drivers.

I'll try deleting the profile. I did a fresh install just to narrow down the errors before installing wiisis.

Edit: Deleting the profile worked game started, a little choppy when starting and into the loading of the game. The first level loaded up fine.

Afterward the nunchuck icon showed up on the screen and there was no control with the wiimote. I opened up the console and the wiimote had been initialized, but no movement at all. I have gotten the wiimote to work with glovepie, so there is no connectivity problems there. Also the Wii Extension Check application would not detect any of my nunchucks(2).

     Sad
